On June 1, Ubisoft Toronto released a new, free mode for the PC version of the game, Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead, which pits online players against a zombie horde. The first piece of premium Season Pass content, which launched in early May, included a new mission for the single-player campaign and special playable operative. Post-launch content, both free and premium, was delayed both by development challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and other glitches and fixes necessary in the main game. 29 for Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One, with versions for Amazon’s Luna service, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X added later. The Season Pass, $29.99 if you didn’t get it with one of two premium editions in the game’s October 2020 launch, lets players add Aiden Pearce and Wrench to their DedSec Resistance club, whether in the single-player tour or the multiplayer Watch Dogs: Legion Online mode that launched in March. Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is available a la carte for $14.99 to those without the Season Pass. Watch Dogs Legion was originally set to release on March. This revised launch date was announced during the Ubisoft Forward 2020 conference. It will also offer several side quests for both characters to complete. The Watch Dogs Legion release date is October 29, 2020. WATCH DOGS: LEGION delivers a never-before-seen gameplay innovation that allows you to recruit and play as anyone you see in the iconic city of London. Originally, Watch Dogs: Legion online was planned for a December 2020 release, but Ubisoft opted to push it to early 2021 to prioritise fixes for the single-player mode. Ubisoft’s statement says Bloodline is a prequel to the main campaign of Watch Dogs : Legion. The online multiplayer component of Watch Dogs: Legion debuts March 9 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. With his job botched, Pearce and his nephew are now on the lam from those who hired him. He’s supposed to infiltrate a Broca Tech lab and steal some cutting edge technology - but Wrench gets the device first and flees. Pearce, according to Ubisoft’s news release, has come to London to reconnect with his nephew, Jackson. But Ubisoft hasn't forgotten about the new mode. Unfortunately, this dedicated post-launch support has come at a cost Ubisoft has had to pull resources away from the development of the game's online multiplayer mode, which has been delayed to 2021 as a result. Youll also see several new playable heroes, new co-op missions, advanced character customization, and more. Watch Dogs: Legion's online multiplayer launches on March 9th.Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline, the story expansion for those who bought the game’s premium season pass, will launch July 6, Ubisoft said on Saturday. Watch Dogs: Legion has a lot planned for 2021, with the Bloodline expansion scheduled to launch in late June, according to the latest roadmap from Ubisoft. Finally, there's the Spiderbot Arena PvP mode, where up to four players can battle their armed spiderbots against each other in a deathmatch. There's also a Tactical Op, which is comprised of five interconnected narrative missions, which Ubisoft describes as "endgame content." To complete the op, you'll need to make sure your team has upgraded its gadgets and has a strong lineup of recruits. In multiplayer, you'll be able to wreak havoc on the streets of London with up to three friends in co-op free-roam, completing co-op missions, side activities, and challenges together. However, Ubisoft didn't rule out that achievements might be added in at a later date - it's something the Legion team is investigating. We reached out to Ubisoft to find out if the multiplayer mode would include any new achievements for the action-adventure game, and while it might be good news for some (and disappointing for others), a Ubisoft spokesperson told us there would be no new achievements to unlock for Watch Dogs: Legion's online mode at launch.
